Growth defines Kelvin’s place at Sunshine. Each day he cares for animals in the barn with pride and consistency while building
confidence and a sense of purpose.
He is also active in community programming, connecting with local organizations and exploring what comes next. After working through past barriers, Kelvin now partners with an Employment Navigator and Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities to pursue parttime work that fits his strengths.
Kelvin energizes the people around him bonding over Detroit sports, Cedar Point adventures, and a genuine commitment to making others feel seen and included. Through his enthusiasm, kindness, and drive, people feel his presence.
Kelvin has built job skills, strengthened community connections, and is now actively pursuing a community job with the support of his Employment Navigator.
